VoxelChat ("we", "us", or "our") operates the VoxelChat mobile application and the voxelchat.app website. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our services.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use VoxelChat:

Google Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and Google account ID. This is used solely for authentication purposes.

Name and Profile Picture: We collect your name and profile picture from your Google account to personalize your experience.

Minecraft Account Information: We store the Minecraft usernames and account types (premium or cracked) that you add to the app.

Microsoft Authentication Tokens: When you connect a premium account, Microsoft authentication tokens are cached securely on our servers so you don't need to re-authenticate on every connection. These tokens never leave our infrastructure.

Server Information: We store the Minecraft server addresses and names that you save in the app.

Approximate Location and Device Language: We collect your approximate location (country and timezone) based on your IP address, and your device language for analytics purposes. This data is used internally to improve our service and is not shared with third parties.

Website Analytics: On voxelchat.app we count aggregate, anonymous statistics such as total page visits and download clicks. These counters contain no personal information and cannot be linked to you.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the VoxelChat service

• Authenticate your identity and manage your account

• Connect your Minecraft bot to servers on your behalf

• Improve our app and services

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We use industry-standard security measures including JWT authentication, HTTPS encryption, and secure database storage.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In: For authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Microsoft Authentication: For premium Minecraft account verification. Subject to Microsoft's Privacy Policy.

MongoDB Atlas: For secure data storage.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

Data Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, email us at support@voxelchat.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days of receiving your request. This includes your Google account link, Minecraft account usernames, saved server details, and any cached Microsoft authentication tokens.

Please note that certain aggregate, non-personal data (such as anonymous visit counts used for site analytics) cannot be attributed to any individual and cannot be deleted.

Children's Privacy

VoxelChat does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
